The European Market is smaller and less glitzy than Marche du Film at the Cannes film festival, but also more business-oriented and more accessible. It definitely has the best mingle areas of any market we’ve been to, with large and small cafés and lounges scattered everywhere. With the strong showing from independent producers, who do not tend to buy stands of there own, deals are done in the joint mingle areas.
