Set up and secure logins

Last updated:

One login gives you access to every Dramatify project and production you’re part of. Here’s how to set it up and keep it secure.

One login for all your productions

Each Dramatify user has a single profile that grants access to every project and production they’re invited to or that they run themselves. Sign up to create your own business account and productions, or accept an invitation from another company — either way, you never need a separate login per production. Access is always invitation-only: you can’t join a production without being explicitly added.

Choosing a login method

Dramatify supports three ways to log in:

  1. Email and password — the standard method. Familiar and straightforward, and suitable for smaller teams and student productions.
  2. Multi-factor authentication (MFA / 2FA) — recommended for professional productions. Adds a one-time code on top of your password.
  3. Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) — for broadcasters and larger organisations that want to manage access through their own identity provider.

Why login security matters

Your Dramatify account may contain sensitive production materials that must stay confidential until release. Protecting your login credentials helps prevent unauthorised access and data breaches.

Tips to keep your account secure

  • Lock your devices with passwords or PINs.
  • Choose strong, unique passwords for Dramatify and every other service you use.
  • Avoid reusing passwords from email, banking, or social media.
  • Never share your password over the phone or in messages.
  • Change your most important passwords regularly.
  • Consider a password manager such as 1Password or LastPass to keep track securely.

How to create strong passwords

  • Use at least 10 characters.
  • Mix upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.
  • Avoid personal information (like your name, birthday, or pet’s name).
  • Don’t use common words or simple patterns.
  • Use a password generator to create secure and random passwords — for example, try Random.org.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA / 2FA)

For professional projects, we recommend stronger protection through multi-factor authentication.

  1. Log in to Dramatify.
  2. Click on your name in the top navigation.
  3. First, click Edit in the upper right corner of your profile page and ensure that your mobile number (including country code) in the Contact information section is correct for account recovery purposes.
  4. Then, click on Settings in the orange toolbar and scroll down to the Two factor authentication section, and click Enable two factor authentication.
  5. Verify your identity with a one-time code generated by any of the authentication apps below.

Recommended authentication apps:

Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO)

Broadcasters and larger organisations can integrate Dramatify with their corporate identity provider for streamlined, compliant access management.

  • Okta with SAML 2.0 is fully supported.
  • Microsoft Entra ID, connected through Okta, can be made available on request.
  • Requires an Enterprise licence or an annual Professional subscription.

Contact your Dramatify account manager to set up SSO for your organisation, or reach out to us. If SSO is ever temporarily unavailable, users can still sign in with their regular email and password so production work isn’t interrupted.
